Whether you are looking for a large or small event – The Guildhall has a space to suit your event.
The stunning Guildhall is so often associated with the Great Hall and the amazing award dinners and large parties that take place in here. With an in-built stage in the room and capacities that few venues can accommodate, particularly on this side of town and surrounded by such history and grandeur, we can see why this is such a well known and often photographed space.
However, within the Guildhall there are many more spaces which can accommodate from an intimate dinner for 50 up to the largest event for 700. Each of these areas are available for hire separately or both and are mostly available both in the daytime and evening.
During the day the Basinghall Suite is ideal for conferencing for up to 80. This suite is made up of a beautiful room for the main meeting and a small anti room adaptable as an extension to the meeting area. It is also based within the Art Gallery which guests can explore if they have enough time. In the evening the Art Gallery itself offers a great and interesting space to host receptions and because of the layout of the space, it is quite suitable for 100 guests even though the maximum capacity is 330 standing.
Other spaces at the venue include:
Great Hall – maximum for dinner 900 and theatre style 760
Old Library – maximum for dinner 550 and theatre style 410
East Crypt – maximum for dinner 250
West Crypt – maximum for dinner 250
Livery Hall – maximum for dinner and theatre style 200
With such a variety of spaces available for hire this is a very flexible venue. These rooms can of course be used in combination for more expansive events and The Guildhall has the ability to run multiple events at once, offering different entrances and facilities.
The Guildhall is based right at the heart of the City of London and always impresses guests as they enter the building with its impressive surrounds and history.
