British Beef Week

Great British Beef Week has begun! From Monday April 23rd & running up until Monday April 30th we’re joining in on celebrating the quality & versatility of the beef industry! Beef has many health benefits when incorporated into a balanced diet, & at Seasoned we include beef in countless dishes! So in association with this celebration, we’re sharing beef recipes you can recreate at home, bringing Seasoned into your own kitchen!





2kg prime beef fillet (in one piece, cut from the thick end)

sea salt & black pepper

2tbsp olive oil



First heat the oven to 200°C/Gas 6 & preheat a roasting pan.

Trim any fat or sinew from the fillet of beef & season all over with salt & pepper.

Heat a non-stick frying pan with a little olive oil.

Once the oil is hot, add the beef & sear for 1 ½ – 2 minutes on each side until evenly browned all over.

Lightly oil the heated roasting pan & transfer the beef to the roasting pan, before placing it in the oven.

Roast for at least 25 minutes for medium rare beef (it should feel a little springy when lightly pressed).

Lastly, transfer the fillet to a warm platter & leave to rest for 10 minutes & then serve as you please!
