In the heart of the City of London lies Gibson Hall; a top London venue with a secluded garden which is decadent, memorable and perfect for meetings and events. Gibson Hall is rich in heritage and provides a flexible event space mixing old with new and indoor with outdoor whilst still retaining features relating to its banking history. Its history lives on today by providing an atmospheric backdrop for a variety of events including conferences, gala dinners, barbecues, Christmas parties and weddings.

MAIN HALL

With its Corinthian marble columns and crystal chandeliers, the Main Hall provides a glittering backdrop for receptions and gala dinners. Its atmosphere of tradition is mixed with a modern environment whilst retaining a uniquely warm and inviting ambience. The magnificent Main Hall is large enough to hold all kinds of conferences, meetings and exhibitions, supported by production companies who can provide state-of-the-art audio visual systems. There are 700 square metres of exhibition space throughout the hall. Using the versatility of the space and our flexibility as an events team, we pride ourselves on providing a solution for most events.

GARDEN ROOM

The Garden Room can be used as a reception area before proceeding into the Main Hall but it is also a versatile space in its own right. Guests can arrive at the venue and use the cloakroom facilities and garden room without even seeing the main hall, giving the opportunity of a big unveiling for the main event. The Garden Room overlooks the secluded courtyard which is one of the hall’s most popular features for summer entertainment and a rarity in this part of the city. The Garden Room can be used on its own for smaller conferences, dinners or receptions as it is an adaptable space and has recently been transformed into a range of spectacular party experiences including a state-of-the-art lounge and a winter wonderland.

GARDEN

The garden is an area ideal for enjoying drinks in the sunshine with the City providing a stunning backdrop. It is very rare to find such a large and flexible outside space within the City and it really is the gem of Gibson Hall. Even in the colder months the natural light and outside view can always be admired from inside the Garden Room. This secluded space is ideal for summer parties, receptions, entertainment and wedding photos. With courtyard space to set up a barbecue and outdoor furniture adjacent to the lawn areas the garden is a very versatile space and is also perfect for picnics and games. For larger events or to ensure against possible bad weather, a marquee can be erected over the entire or part of the garden space.
